Kindly make sure that you are checking the correct email and phone number. Because the sending of the verification code is system generated wherein the codes will be sent to the email and phone that are linked to the account.

Make sure that your email address and phone number that you are checking are the ones correctly listed in your Microsoft account's security info.

And then check spam/junk folder because sometimes, the email with the security code might end up in your spam or junk folders.

If you're not receiving the code, try refreshing your browser or app and requesting the code again. Avoid making multiple requests in quick succession.

hi this is the same person from that question, sadly my account password was changed. Why isint microsoft sending confirmation emails to the back up email concerning the security change? shouldnt they be providing a code? this is why i use gmail more often

I to have this problem, I was surprised when it wont send that one time code to log in, but it won't send, I tried registering it, the account is as if it never existed, last time I used this account, played minecraft with Realms with friends was 9 months ago, now it won't work, I tried registering it, It registered a new account under the Gmail I'm using, that wasn't supposed to happen if the Gmail is already used for an existing account.
