    It won't let me connect my Xbox to my Microsoft account


    I just made a new account and successfully logged into it at least 6 times trying to connect it to my Xbox and it still won't connect. It will say it's signed me in on the app on my phone but when I try to check it tell me to add a new password, and when I do it tells me to verify it, and then finally when I do that it takes me all the way back to the beginning and tells me to add a new password for the account when originally the account doesn't have one. I've been trying for 20 minutes to no avail, I've logged into my Microsoft account, the Xbox app, cloud gaming, and then back to Microsoft and it still just will not connect to my Xbox console. Please someone help, thank you.

    Connection problem with xbox live

    I'm having similar connection issues with Xbox live on my One. I can log into my account just fine but it's not connecting to xbox live. I was able to sign into live on my 360, but for some reason my One just won't let me connect.

    I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues.

    Please try to test connecting your console to another network and check if the same problem occurs, you could configure your smartphone as a Mobile Hotspot and connect your console to that network.
