It says I need xbox gold when I have it already

Trying to play destiny, but none of my online multiplayer is working. I already bought gold for the year. And I restarted the box, Checked on my account it says I'm good, but for some reason it's stating that I need gold.

I see that you have tried some of the steps already but please the the following in the exact steps.

First double check
http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

You still show as silver account only. So looks like something may have gone wrong.

Try signing in and out of your profile and then redeem it? I know you can't stack trial accounts and maybe it's not recognizing that you currently don't have a sub. Or maybe you're used all three trials on that console?
