it keeps telling to link my twitch account

So I'm having this same issue without any resolve so I guess we all waiting for some sort of update to fix this issue or something I power off, resetted, remove and add my account, turn my internet off and everything and still nothing

In order to fix this, you will need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps, here's how:

Update your Xbox console and Twitch app first:

For console:

Make sure your console is connected to the Internet, then press the Xbox X on a sphere Xbox logo button to open the guide and select Profile & system (your account icon) > Settings Gear-shaped Settings icon.

Select System > Updates & downloads > Update console.

If you see a grayed-out No console update available instead of Update console, it's because you're already up to date.

For Twitch app:

Initially, you have to press the Xbox button. This will open the guide. So, after that, simply select My games & apps > See all.

Now, from the list, select Filter > Xbox One X Enhanced > Done.

Note: The games and apps that show after performing the above steps are updated. So, in case Twitch is not there, that means that it has some pending updates.

Once they are both updated, try to stream again on Twitch to see if it works.

Is there any other way to solve this? I'm having the same issue and that isn't fixing it

I had a system update today and it fix the problem so check to see if you have one

If you link your YouTube account with your twitch account you can tell twitch to upload past live broadcasts to YouTube.
