It happend to me.

I've had to deal with not having access to my games in the past - it's both enlightening and frightening.

I fully understand your point of view, and although my only issue was that co-dependency, I did realise that once that decision was made, people would then be jumping up and down about its inclusion even though it was no longer necessary, along with the
higher price point.

I'm in no way looking to get into a "Kinect discussion"... As we all know how that used to go.

In the end, you can still play most games without it if need be. That's good enough for me.

Price point is the main gripe surrounding the Kinect I feel... But anyway...

 

I agree with the mandatory removal thing. Its nice that its forced to consumers so that they have the choice on whether to use it or not but having it as a mandatory piece of kit would of been over kill in my opinion. I am glad they decided to leave it down
to consumer choice rather than make it an essential adaption.

 

I sent it off today and I used the free shipping and handling option. So it should take around 3 weeks.

Off topic: Ever since this happend when I turn my XB1 off the light on the power brick turns orange and it does a reset. I wonder if thats normal when the kinect is not plugged in.

 

Must've sucked having to use a finger to turn the console AND controller on instead of just the controller.
