It doesn't let me send messages on my Xbox one my 360 is fine

Hi! Thanks for answering so soon. So I tried to both hard reset and factory reset, but as I try to launch an Xbox 360 game, or if I try to download my xbox 360 profile, the same message keeps appearing.

Now, indeed I use the same account I usted to play with back when I had an Xbox 360, I've never changed it, but it usted to work just fine until a couple of days ago. And it doesn't even let me download any other account for the Xbox 360 Games, if I press
on 'download profile', it checks the connection for a bit and then sends me an error message prompting me to check my connection, and it sends me there just to corroborate that my connection is fine.

Also, all my Xbox 360 Games are on discs, I don't own any of them digitally.

But as I write this, the Xbox status says that they're having problems with some content usage and purchases, so maybe this issue is a result of that? I don't know. But thanks for having taken the time to answer me anyway!

Its not letting me send a message on my x box one

Can you click on your account here on the Xbox website in the upper right corner, and go to your Messages? Are you able to send messages there?

Do you get an error message when sending messages from your Xbox One? What exactly prevents you from sending messages on your Xbox One?

I can't send messages on here as it says it's due to my past behavior. Same with my Xbox one and app. I can send them on my 360 but they don't go through. If I play a 360 game on my one the option to message is greyed out.
