    It appears to me that I do not have Xbox Live when I really do have it


    Good evening community, I've been trying to play online but it appears for example in Fortnite that I do not have Xbox Live, so I have reviewed and I still have Xbox Live for more than 1 year so I do not know what to do, yesterday
    I deleted the account and today I enter it again but it does not work yet. Any suggestions? Thank you

    So I decided to get on my xbox one today since I have been playing WoW here recently. Logged on normal. Could see all friends, go to store, redeem code, ect.. Got onto friends to join my buddies party to play game with him and some friends, and its telling
    me I need to have Live Gold. No big deal at first, thinking maybe card expired or something simple. Got on computer to check my subscriptions.. Well that was a bad idea cant even get on keeps saying "Sorry, something happened blah blah blah blah"..

    So I tried it on the xbox. Went to "subscriptions", Says "Try the new Xbox Live Gold" Something of that sort, so I click it. cause that was the ONLY option. Asks me about Doing 1 year, or 1 month. So I just clicked 1 month. MULTIPLE times I tried this and
    all it said is "You can only have one of these on this account" which I had NO idea wtf it was talking about, so then I turned xbox off, unplugged it for a good reset and connection restart. Still did it. So shorten up the speech here, eventually I was able
    to get it all the way through but its telling me I have already got an xbox live gold subscription, but my xbox one is telling me I do not have it.

    Please fix this crap and tell me why its doing it.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Since this is an account issue, I strongly recommend getting a hold of our chat or phone support agents through our
    Contact Us page. They may need to remove Live and add it back on. That will be the best avenue of support to take! It appears to me that I do not have Xbox Live when I really do have it :)

    Please double check
    http://account.microsoft.com/services
    to see if the subscription is showing there.

    If the subscription shows, try the following steps

    1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account since you will need them later)
    2. Perform the manual power cycle steps as mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

      http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console
    3. Redownload your profile

    If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

    You can check the status of your subscriptions from a mobile device or computer in the following link:

    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    This is one way to check everything still working until the time you pay it, but doing the power cycle as the other ambassador recomend, probably will fix the issue.

    Let us know if these sugestions fix your issue, or if you need more assistance?
