  1. It appears my account does not seem to recognize the fact that I have a gold membership


    Not too long ago I purchased a 3 month gold membership and used it on my account. Basic gold functions seem to be working, for example I am able to join parties, play games online, etc. The main problems I run into involve things like Games with Gold, EA
    Access, etc. When trying to use those functions, I get redirected to a page that gives me instructions and options on how to purchase gold, when in reality I already have it. My account on the website also doesn't seem to detect my gold membership. So in turn,
    I am unable to use those functions. Perhaps something else worth mentioning is that in the past, when my gold ran out and I used a code to get it back, occasionally I would get a message saying that I already had gold when I didn't, and this was proven when
    I couldn't access basic gold functions. This doesn't seem to be happening anymore, but perhaps the information could help solve the current problem I am having. Any suggestions?

    X Box Live Gold not recognized

    Just purchased X box live gold and set up account using the computer- 2 days ago. Went to use it and it does not recognize my gold account. It says that I am at free one month subscriber. I am logged in with the same username and password, but will not
    allow me to do gold access. Checked on my computer and it says that I have gold membership, but on xbox does not show that. Any ideas?

    I have xbox Live Gold Membership I pay for yearly...but I still don't think my Xbox live Rewards recognizes it???

    Sorry to hear that your Gold membership is not working properly. What you should do here is contact phone support for more assistance as this would count as a billing issue.

    Thank you I am having the same exact problem! I renewed my Gold for a year, as usual, in March! Frustrating…. Let's hope we find the answer… Even xbox.com does not recognize my gold membership and is offering to sell me Gold :(

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:
