    I bought an XBox S console (with Kinect sensor) on May 2014 through Amazon India.

    I had a great experience with the Console for a week or 2. After that, Suddenly the Console went down with Red light (Whenever I try to switch on, the console showed a red light).

    After following the troubleshooting steps and having an online chat with XBox support, I thought my power supply had issues and ordered for the same.

    I got the replacement power supply after some time but even that didn't solve my problem. I again has a chat and this time I was asked to send my console for repair (as I tried the power supply with my friends console and it worked fine. So the support person
    thought it is a console issue)

    This was a torrid time for me as the support vendor Ensure services did not give proper updates. Every time I have to call them and ask about the status.

    After some time, I got a replacement console. This was in stark contrast to what the chat person said to me. He said my console will be serviced and handed back to me soon. The coordination/communication is missing between MS support and the support vendor
    (in my case Ensure services). One said my console will be repaired whereas the other was taking steps to replace the console.

    After few weeks, I had a sigh of relief as I got a replacement console. At this point I did not worry much whether it is a replacement/repair.

    To my frustration, this console is not even turning on. I again had a chat, they raised an escalation Support Request last week. Since then, I have just got one mail from them and I had responded. But didn't get any response. At least I would have been satisfied
    had they mentioned that this is in progress.

    This is turning out to be a nightmarish experience already and I have started cursing myself for preferring XBox over PS.

    Any idea what I should do now? If this doesn't get solved soon, I feel that I have to take this to Consumer Court. If this can be solved quickly, nothing like that and Consumer court should be on the worst case scanario.

  2. Repeated, random disconnects from Xbox Live on 360s

    I'm having similar issues. My XBOX 360 S console will (occasionally) kickme from Xbox LIVE. Most of the time I need to re-start my console to play again, but not always. It is really annoying.

    Had this issue... Ooh, since I bought my first Xbox a few years ago? Im now on Virgin Media 10MBPS, but I have been with Sky and had this issue. In the UK.

  3. Insight on power supply issue?

    The Chat feature on the support page isn't accepting any data in the fields so I can't advance to the next step, and my tweet has so far been unanswered. Maybe someone here has some insight? It would be greatly appreciated!

    We've had an Xbox since November 2014. We had a lightning storm which fried our TV and the original power supply. We replaced both and the Xbox worked for a while. Then it didn't. Checked the console with the neighbor's power supply and it worked, so we
    replaced the power supply again. Since then, we have completed that cycle three more times. Naturally, my kids are wondering if they should stop spending their allowance money on power supply units and instead save up for a new Xbox. Or Playstation.

    Is it possible that we're just that unlucky with power supplies or is something wrong with the console itself?

    Thanks for any help.

    I have this same exact issue. I tried the troubleshooting sets that Microsoft recommends but none of them have fixed the problem.

    I’m NOT in the Xbox insiders program and this is the first time I’m having this issue since I bought my original Xbox One since 2014.
