  2. Nevermind, I called my ISP and asked them to help me. Well I spent almost 45 minutes doing this, and it didn't fix jack ***. Still having the same problem and it looks like I'm not the only one, so what's going on? Getting really fed up with this.

  3. Your gateway is usually 192.168.0.1 you can check it by going on your computer and searching for CMD, this will open a black window. In there you can type IPconfig and a bunch of text and numbers show up. You're looking for "default gateway" if you copy
that number and enter it in your browser you'll be able to change your router settings.

In there you must then add the IP of your Xbox with the proper portforwarding

You can find more info on how to portforward Actiontec Pk5000 (not the exact same model but will be very similar) right here

Well, like I said, I called my ISP and they helped me change my NAT setting to open and absolutely nothing has changed. Still getting disconnected every 15-20 minutes.

  5. Could you try connecting your console via cable instead of wifi and see if that fixes it ?

  6. No I can't do that, I would have to have a 40' Ethernet cable to do so as the router is in another room. I just don't understand this crap man, I know you are trying to help and none of this is your fault, but this is incredibly infuriating. I spent 2
hours trying to do the port forwarding crap all over again, thinking I did something wrong, and it still didn't help. My NAT says its open behind a cone network and that my connection is fine. I will tell you however that when I tried to enter the ports
for 88 UDP, 3074 UDP/TCP, 53 UDP/TCP I got an error message saying that those ports are already in use by another port forwarding or application rule. I will also tell you that yesterday when I was playing Destiny, I noticed that as long as I am in a multiplayer
group (such as doing strikes with other players) or in matchmaking, I could stay on for long periods of time, I actually got an hour and a half of play time in. But once I entered the "lobby" (I guess that's what you would call it, the tower) or was in orbit,
I would be booted. Still having the same issues with NETFLIX, getting disconnected every 15-25 minutes, sometimes less. I am just really *** man. I don't understand why my 360 worked flawlessly on the same router and ISP and everything, but as soon as I
get the Xbox One hooked up I can't even watch a *** episode of tv on Netflix, which is something I really enjoy. When someone pays over $400 for something, they expect it to work without having to sit in front of a computer trying to modify a bunch of crap
they don't even understand on their modem. It looks like I'm not the only one having this problem either. Now I know it sounds like im being a huge crybaby but I am getting really *** off at this hunk of junk, there are a ton of cool looking games coming
out soon and I won't even be able to play the ***.

I did the DMZ the other night, after I posted on this thread. It helped a lot, but once in a while it still disconnects. I'll have to come back in a few days and see if it actually worked... DMZ opens all ports to that IP address. Theoretically it should
    fix all problems

Have a static IP on my my system, made sure all the ports are open using portforward.com, that didn't work, put the IP address for my Xbox one in the DMZ location on my router webpage and still kicks me off live and says "service information is unavailable".
I go offline and then back online and everything is good for about 10 minutes and then it repeats the same problem.

The Xbox One will not run unsigned code, so it is not susceptible to software attacks for the most part.

I strongly recommend you put your Xbox One in a DMZ. A DMZ just opens all ports to a device outright.

-Go to our console's settings, find it's IP address.

-Log into your router, probably 92.168.1.1

-Find the DMZ settings. Choose from any address, to your Xbox One's address.

This hasn't worked for me, but it should work. It's normally foolproof, so we'll see.

I suspect Activison Bungie may be partly to blame.

Well I tried this as well and I was abruptly kicked from live within about 2 minutes. I'm going to throw this piece of
[Mod Removed] off of an overpass I to oncoming traffic and then go buy a PS4

  14. Well, I don't know what's happened, but the issue has apparently been resolved overnight. I've ignored the system for about 3 days and now everything is working fine now. Anyone else?

I know your pain man. There have been many times that I have been tempted to dropkick my system across the street because I get kicked from live in the middle of a raid in Destiny lol. I was so excited when I got my Xbox One, now it does nothing but ***
me off. The lack of support has been a MASSIVE turn off for me as well. I bet this is my fourth post on the issue and not a single one of them has received a reply from anyone in support. It just absolutely infuriates me that no one, not one single person,
can post something that says "Yeah, it's not you, our servers blow balls", instead all I see is "Unplug your router, reset your system. Didn't work? Ok well stand on one foot and spin in a circle 3 times and see if that works."

I never had these problems with my 360, and to be honest I kinda wish I had it instead of the One lol.

Just like you, I am going to give it another month and see if anything changes, but in the meantime I am strongly considering switching to PS4 as well, I've spent over $400 hundred dollars for a biga$$ paperweight.

your not alone buddy, I'm having the same issues as you, my 1 month free xbl gold from Master Chief Collection has been wasted on endless XBL disconnects, Spent £££ on a wireless range extender that makes no difference, spent my whole birthday rebuilding
my entire network again, no difference at all.

how I have managed to stop myself from hurling the joypad through my flatscreen i will never know.

My current fix is I'm simply not going to use it until I hear word that M$ is sorting the issue, although in the meantime I will be looking to exchange it for a ps4. Xbox live is nothing like it used to be
