Issues with Xbox One app for the Iphone and Windows 10

The issue that im having and im sure other people having with this app is that it crashes during the load up screen. ive tried everything from updating it to deleted and reinstalling it. Their is a issue with the app and I dont know if it is Microsoft side
or Apple new IOS causing the problem. Now for the Window issue so far what I found is the app will not let me send messages to other players. Its been like that for days and it keep telling me that it cannot send this message at this time. im looking for updates
and im going to uninstall and reinstall the app to see if this fixes the issue hopefully this reaches to the respectable support teams to get these issues fixed.

Quantum Break PC Code Windows 10 Not delivered

Hi XBox Forum, I Pre-order Quantum Break digitally for XBox One via XBox.com on April 2nd with (Order#[Mod Removed]) but I have not received my PC Windows 10 digital bonus code as of today April 15th @ 10pm ET! =(

I do not have an XBox One console but I do have a Window 10 PC with the XBox App Installed and I check my messages every day with no luck. I also have the XBox Glass App on my iPhone and no code.

Today I chat with Zy from XBox.com customer support and he advise that he sees that my code was sent to my account but I do not have it. I double check my Windows 10 XBox App and my XBox Glass App messages on the iPhone and nothing. Zy referred me to this
forum for support and assistant.

'Turn On' Xbox One from Windows 10 Not Working But SmartGlass Does

I am unable to turn on my Xbox One from the Windows 10 Xbox app, receiving the following error message "We are unable to turn on your console. Make sure this device is on the same network as your console and your console is set to instant-on".
However, if the Xbox One is already on, I can connect and utilize game streaming from Windows 10. On the same network, I can successfully turn on the Xbox One from the SmartGlass app on my iPhone and then connect to the Xbox One for game streaming from Windows
10. Any ideas for how to get the Xbox One to turn on directly from Windows 10 without having to use the SmartGlass app? Thanks!

 

Hey there Lancerlot!

The Xbox App crashing on iOS is a known issue that is currently being looked into. I don't have any further information or an ETA on a fix but teams are aware of it so hold tight on that front.

On the Windows Xbox App side, can you search the Windows store for the "Xbox Beta App" and download that? I'd like to see if you're having the same issue in that app as well. Are you able to message from your console just fine? Also, do note that you won't
be able to reinstall the regular Xbox App because it's part of Windows 10 but you can reset the app which essentially does the same thing. Here's how you do that:

• Open your PC's Settings menu
• System
• Apps & features
• Search for 'Xbox'
• Select the Xbox App
• Advanced Options
• Reset

Hopefully that works and if not, let's hope the beta app works. Let me know how it goes!
