    Issues with xbox live gold offer


    I had the xbox live 40% off gold offer on my console, but it would not let me take the offer. Xbox live support got involved but could not rectify the problem, told me to get in touch to sort this out. Could a code be generated and this issue resolved for
    me?

    Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

    I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

    Live Gold renewal "40% off" add on dashboard...doesn't do anything?

    I got Xbox Live Gold for 14.99 (which I presume is 40% off) a few days ago through the same thing.

    Also, I don't have many issues with the forums.

    Sorry to hear about the issue! This offer is only valid for purchasing Xbox Live Gold through the promotion on the dashboard. If you added an Xbox Live Gold token to your account during this promotion, it will not qualify you for this promotion.
    Just to clarify, did you purchase your Xbox Live membership through the dashboard promotion? Also, when did you purchase this offer? Thanks!

    It is a free to play game as set by the publisher that is offering it on Xbox Live Gold, yes these are offered through a paid service just as you have to pay your ISP to be able to access Xbox Live Gold.
