    I don't normally use forums but this issue is to big for me not to before I bought my second
    Xbox One I asked a Xbox help tech if my son logs on this one if he is under my family he can play all my games the answer was yes I ask even when I am playing the answer was yes the next was if my daughter was on because they are both
    under could they both play on different Xbox ones at the same time under my family the answer was yes well from him any way but the truth of the matter is I was told incorrectly the sad thing is I had ask more than one tech about this and they
    all had told me the same thing so I know that this is a training issue with MS but it is even bigger for those of us with actual families not just gamers that give out our info to other gamers to share games, so me being me I propose this because I would never
    give a problem with out thinking of some solution, MS and Xbox has the ability to see all
    Xbox ands window 10 devises in the same network so set the Xbox family up like a real family and have all the
    Xboxes on the same network as the home Xbox that is registered as a family
    Xbox I know it can be done easily just as the Xbox app sees and saves the
    IP of the Xboxes on the same network the windows 10 can even log me in without the
    Xbox having my Xbox ID and Password. I have kept this short I want to see who replies to it and see if we can start a movement in the direction of a true Xbox Family without having to pay for a new subscriptions! If you have your
    settings checked email me replies to this post we can start to get organized but family should be family not just on the one Xbox or while the main user is logged on, my sister and her kids have the family and they cant even download their updates unless she
    logs on because of this so it needs to be fixed there are so many issues with it and it started the same time Xbox One was released so they know some of the issues and they have had had some if the miscommunications but it needs fixed we pay for family now
    it is just gold so they should fix it.

    ^^ I agree with all that, but I wonder if the specs will be more "powerful" sooner rather than later.

    Confirmed. I'm seeing the same issue. With any luck, Epson's new line will gain enough market traction that Microsoft will take notice. Given their interest in selling 4K compat Xbox One S systems, hopefully this will be addressed sooner than later.

    Thank you Bastion116 for taking the time to responding to my question. Sorry I couldn't reply sooner as I was away on more important matters.



    Perhaps I should make the question as explicit as possible what we intend to do.



    Three family members have Windows Phone, including me. We have a single XBOX 360 account and we do not intend to have more than one XBOX account. We use XBOX more for family recreation and we do not (so far) consider ourselves gamers, so the use may be categorized
    mainly for Movies, family games, and TV. Whoever happens to turn on the XBOX, it would be ideal for that person to use Windows Phone as a remote control with SmartGlass App. There is no need for more than one person to use Windows Phone as a remote.



    In short, we want any one of the Windows Phone to control the XBOX 360 which has a single Microsoft account for family use. So, is this possible?

    We have no intention to have multiple Xbox accounts as we see no point and no doubt this would increase subscription cost?

    My understanding of a GamerTag is that it's a unique user ID associated with Xbox account. I do not suppose multiple GamerTag is allowed for a given XBOX account, or is it?

    Any further input to shed more light on this query is therefore very much appreciated.
