issues with Xbox controller on Android game

Has anyone ever had issues with playing a game on a mobile device with your Xbox controller connected via Bluetooth? I play call of duty mobile and sometimes , a button press doesnt work for a bit or just momentarily. I understand it could be a multitude
of things such as Bluetooth connectivity, game, or controller so just thought I'd stop by here and see if I'm not alone
