Issues with Xbox 360 Original games.

Game disc: "Crash Nitro Kart"

Console: "Xbox 360 slim" (white)

HHD: 500GB official Microsoft internal xbox slim hard drive

Error message: "Game Error" , "the game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again. , For more help, visit www.xbox.com/support.

I've tried all of this: forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/f/8/t/25.aspx

This is the game I really want to get working, however I've tried another original xbox game and had the exact same issue, it was called: "Test Drive". I'll also note I tried these games in a friend's 360 console (his had a built in hard drive) and the "Test
Drive" game worked however the "Crash Nitro Kart" still did not, but it did give an error code on his, which was: "X: 5829.0 B: 1884.0"

If you have any idea how to get this game to work, please respond; I'm willing to try just about anything, in addition to what I've already tried.

Issues With 360 And Original XBOX Games

I have a white XBOX 360 60GB console that's not connected to the net it's upstairs away from the router and I haven't got around to getting a wifi adapter in fact I am looking into buying a used slim 360 with the wifi built in but anyway I bought The Suffering
and original XBOX game and went to play on my 360 I know it used to play on it years ago but it's been a while since I played XBOX. It said it's not compatible so I downloaded the latest software via USB and updated the console and again went to play the game
and it still says it's not compatible what could be the issue because the update went through fine?

What is the region of your disc? Unfortunately the emulator only support the North American version.

I believe it is North American, it has "NTSC" designation which I'm pretty sure is North American, the game also starts in English.

But even if the primary game is the wrong region, "test drive" (the second game I tested) isn't region specific, and it has the same problem.

 

NTSC-NA will work, NTSC-J won't. Though the chances you have a -J copy is slim, since it wouldn't even be in English. Your issue is probably in your video output mode. Some games only boot in 720p, and some in 480p. Some will refuse to boot while your console
outputs via HDMI and will only work with composite/component, and vise versa. Play around with your console's video settings. Make sure you're signed into Live. And before you ask, no, you'll have to manually change it back and forth every time you want to
play the game, if this is indeed the issue.
