Issues with the Xbox One

Hi,

First off Id like to add that I am an avid Xbox one user. I play every chance I get.

But I'm growing sick and tired of "Xbox one core services" issue and the constant

lag that each game brings to the table. I tried signing in yesterday May 23 at about 4 pm.

I tried loading Call of Duty Ghost, nothing happened. It wont get passed the stupid screen

with the guy in the mask. So I try getting on Titanfall; maybe I can go play the new expansion

pack that came out recently.. Nothing It wont load. The only thing I've been able to do the

past 18 hours on my $500 Xbox One is watch Twitch videos of people playing games on

their Play Station 4 and PC. Xbox is losing the race by a long shot when it comes to next gen

consoles. Instead of being so worried about what the Xbox team is going to be doing for the

Xbox one in June maybe they should be worried about the problems they are currently having.

Like the fact that I cant play anything on the console currently. I've been a member of the

Microsoft community since the Original Halo came out in 2001. I've always been one to back up for

the Xbox console since the battle started between the two major rivals. I know I am not the

only one who feels this way. I just recently got off a "chat" with an "Xbox support adviser"

also known as someone over in India. Its been 18 hours since I have been able to play a

single game on the Xbox one. She explained to me that they are aware of the issue and are

currently working their hardest to resolve the issue, blah blah blah. It was probably some fixed

message that she copy and pasted. You're telling me that a 343 something billion dollar company

cant keep the Xbox One Core servers up and running? But you want to make more intricate

changes to the console in the future? Fix the ones you're currently dealing with Microsoft.

Issues with the Xbox one

for the last couple of weeks my xbox one doesn't seem to be working as well as it did, at dashboard when i go to friends or other accounts under my profile it gets real laggy, I also can't see my own gamer picture and can't recieve achievements, I'm connected
to the Internet and all and am able to play with friends but it's acting weirdly, has this happened to anyone else and if so can you fix it?

 

Issues with the Xbox one

First thing to try is a hard reset. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

 

I had the same problem and posted on a previous thread about it. I did a hard reset (hold down the XB1 power button) then after rebooting things were working fine again. So far every time I get the occasional mishap ie. not being able to connect to certain
servers etc. a hard reset seems to fix things.

 

That is not an acceptable solution. I am having to hard reset 3-5 times a day to get stuff to work.

Its a joke. Something is clearly not right. I have been commenting on various forum posts with issues that seem to be shared by people across the board.

Appalling...

Okay...I'm seriously considering buying a PS4 at this stage. Can someone please explain to me why I am on average three times per week getting the "Having trouble connecting?" tile on my Xbox One and am then directed to this *** page that tells you that
everybody is working to make it all better.

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't Xbox One supposed to have over 300,000 dedicated servers for it's loyal gamers across the globe. Isn't this the almighty weapon that Microsoft so bravely charged into battle with against Sony? To supposedly stop these exact connection
reliability issues me and my friends are having? Yet, none of my PS4 pals have a bad word to say about PSN and are quite frankly laughing at me for deciding to buy an Xbox One now...
