Issues with the reputation system.

I find myself getting a lower and lower reputation due to an increasing reports from other players. The majority of these reports are for "Unsporting behavior". I've had xbox live for some 6 or 7 years and I've never had problems with bad reputation. It
has always been good.

However, ever since buying and playing Rainbow Six Siege, I've been getting more and more reports. Players in this game seem very reluctant to report.

I am never disrespectful to others, always try my best and to finish a game.

It's also quite impossible to regain my reputation again since of the frequency I get reported.

I'd like to have this issue looked after and sorted out before it becomes impossible for me to find other players online.

Reputation System Issues

I will try to make this brief.

So, since December of 2016, my account has been in the "Avoid Me" reputation status. I understand this is due to "bad behavior" as the enforcement team deems it. I admit, whilst playing Forza, there were times I'd be frustrated in League play and shunt
someone into a barrier(or similar scenario) and inevitably end up reported for "Unsporting". Now, where the confusion comes in, is that my account never entered the "Needs Work" area of the reputation system. I went directly from "Good Player" to "Avoid Me"
with a handful of reports on my account. The plot graph on the enforcement webpage(enforcement.xbox.com/home/reputation) even shows the sudden drop as well, with no plot points in neither the Yellow nor Orange "Needs Work" category. I was also under the
impression that a notification would be sent via some form of communication about said "bad behavior" along with a suggestion to correct the offense so as to not lead to future disciplinary action, at least according to Major Nelson back in September of 2016.
I received no such notice.

So, upon noticing that my account was in fact in the "Avoid Me" reputation this month (February) ultimately, I bucked up, begrudgingly downloaded World of Tanks and began the arduous attempt at reconciling my reputation to it's former status. I played this
game consistently over the course of 4-5 days. Yesterday morning, after having my tank blown up, I decided to back out of the game and hop on over to my profile on the console to see if that blatant banner of disapproval was still there. To my surprise,
it wasn't! It didn't say "Good Player" or "Needs Work", but it didn't have a Triangle with an Exclamation point next to "Avoid Me", either! I took this to mean I was in the clear, powered the Xbox down and went to work. Turns out I was wrong. When I arrived
home that night, I powered up the console and to my disbelief, "Avoid Me" was back on my profile. After over 24 hours of game-time logged in World of Tanks without bad behavior(Didn't even have a headset plugged in), it still is in the "Avoid Me" reputation.
The ultimate confusion comes when attempting to check my reputation status across the various platforms. The enforcement page itself actually still lists me as having a "Good Player" status next to my reputation with a green throttle diagram. The xbox app
on my phone doesn't seem to show reputation. Both the console and Xbox app for Windows 10 show me still in the "Avoid Me".

HELPPPPPPP!!!

Why is there so little information on this subject? How am I to be expected to dig myself out of a hole without knowing the depth? At this point, my Xbox Live has expired, and I'm wondering if it'll ever be worth it to renew. If anyone has answers regarding

Redemption Wolf... trust me, i had the same problem 2 times, in the last year, always about ppl how dont like to lose on 1vs1 game matches, i posted here looking for an answer suggested by Phone Agents, and all i got here are some users that answered me
and others with the same problem, treating us like delincuents, or player with bad behavoir, i decided that i dont come here to fight or discuss with nobody, cause that is not my essence, and is not in my personality.

Even in this way i found very usefull the answers of some users, and others that i didnt find usefull answers i think that they really answer what they trust and really believe.

I just, and based on my personal exprience, advice you to... forget to get a help to your problem here, and open a case on microsoft support email, requesting a personal revision on your profile, like i did, they answered me in a really good and nice way,
and meanwhile keep playing all you can and keep away of problematic players that can report you if you beat them in a match or something.

Thats my best advice to you, and about keep playing and try to be nice, is the same that most of the usual ppl that answer threads here gonna recommend you, so, just remember my words, been nice dont gonna help you, cause im sure that you are always nice,
like i am, but you need to keep away from problematic or "bad losers" players (with "bad losers" i mean players that dont like, or get mad when they lose, is not a bad behavoir sentence) i felt that i need to clarify that.

I am just an annoyed gamer like you. I have tried everything possible (and then some) to try and havevmy reputation fixed. There is nothing you can do about it except watch your reputation plummet just like me.

The only thing you can even dispute now are actual bans.. And reputation being red isnt considered a ban (even though it is).

Ive been red reputation for over a month now. Its the most frustrated ive been with Xbox ever. And ive been playing sonce the original xbox.

They need to scrap this BS rep system.

 

Your frustrations are definitely understandable. May the two of you can get together with some other players with similar reps and play together and improve things. My advice if at all possible is to avoid those games where you are getting the bad rep

Avoid games where we get bad reports? As far as i know there are only specific games that will not allow you to play if your rep is red. So maybe the issue isnt that we should play a different game.. Maybe they should just do away with this childish rep
system.

 

It's not childish though

It's your playstyle rep

If you trash talk , drop out of games too many times because your team isn't good or you assisinate your own team members or takes dives on purpose

Your are not going to be liked hence the Rep system

You have to learn how to play nice with others

 

Rep isn't based on one match but how you play in multiple matches

And how others like playing with you

So one bad score won't give you red

A lot of bad scores will

 

It's how mostly multilayer servers actually do rep

Player feedback scores

You can't dispute rep scores because it's not just one person but everyone's you played with

 

If you can't play nice you will just have to play with the bad rep players until you improve

It's like a timeout you can't play nice matches if you destroy and make games not fun for ithers

 

These ratings will change around every 3 months. It means after a some time being good player again you will be back to GOOD level. And to get bad reputation you really need to make angry more than only 2-3 players. And again and again. It means that probably
again and again the whole team are reporting about you. Maybe you are shooting killing your own team? And Enforcement team checking these reports to avoid system abuse.

Also from Enforcement site you can file complain to let enforcement team look into these reports about you.

 

If anyone of you would know the Rainbow Siex Siege community, you wouldn't judge me to harshly.

Sometimes I have to kill my teammate (friend) because he's afk (bathroom or something). After 2.5 minutes you get autokicked from the game, so to prevent that, I kill them.

Some players don't understand this and in response kill me. and report me afterwards.

Sometimes it is also necessary to kill teammates to prevent them from throwing the entire game away. Even after trying to communicate what to do, they choose to deliberately ignore suggestions/advice, or are just keen on ruining the game.

After me killing them, a report (towards me) usually follows.

This system is extremely flawed, and even when trying to play at my very best, I still find myself receiving the occasional report.
