    Issues With the PC XBOX Game Pass App


    Hi everyone.

    So i'm having a plethora of issues with the app that i can't seem to solve

    First for some reason, my antivirus (avast) was detecting every exe of a new game i installed from the app as a virus

    Today it happened with Metro Exodus, i just clicked on exclude the exe, and launched the game

    The game would crash on the first logo screen, then i would launch it again and it would ask me if i wanted to launch in safe mode? I clicked yes and this time the game would load up until the devoloper logo screen where a xbox window would pop up saying
    it wasn't able to log in, despite the fact i was already logged in.

    I logged out my account ro relog again and now the app is stuck on a grey window, the menu pops up for a split second then it's just a grey window which i can't interact with, no matter how many times i reboot. I tried uninstalling the app, but i still get
    the grey window with no menus.

    It's a fresh windows 10 install btw, updated. And i'm not having any problems with other software or anything.

    I'm also having the same issue, I've tried both PC and IOS Game pass app and xbox app and neither work. I use the IOS Game Pass and Xbox App.

    Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
    need to have Windows update version 1903.

    Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

    Download the Xbox Game Pass app on your mobile phone and check out current Perks on the profile screen.

    How can I unlock the game pass quests from having a padlock on them?

    I have had the same issue ever since I renewed Game Pass Ultimate last week.

    • Everything works except Game Pass Quests on phone app and console
    • Game Pass Ultimate subscriber bonus points arent available on Xbox app
    • Xbox app on PC shows I am currently subscribed to Game Pass PC plan even though I am subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate plan and it shows correctly on microsoft account page.
