    Issues with the Gaming services!


    Hi there!

    Sorry if this was already asked here....But since 3 days now I am not able to play Xbox games on my pc due to the App does not have Gaming services but it is unable to download it. I tried using Powershell, using the windows store, restarting the services...nothing worked at all...still i cannot play from xbox app on pc...please help Issues with the Gaming services! :)

    Gaming Service issue

    I followed the steps, but afterwards there were no updates in Microsoft Store, and Xbox app is returning the same error code 0x87e00196. Meanwhile the files in the Registry Editor are completely gone. Both the Xbox app and Microsoft Store have been extremely slow as well, if that says anything.

    Gaming Service issue

    In the Windows search bar type "Services".

    Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

    -XblAuth Manager

    -XblGameSave, XboxGipSvc,

    -Xbox Live Game Save,

    -Xbox Live Networking Service,

    Right-click on the service (you must do this for each of them) and select Properties.

    In the Startup Type section of the "General" tab, make sure it is set to Automatic . If it is not already started, click Start.

    Then click Apply and OK to save the changes.

    Restart the device and try again.

    Hello!

    Hope you are well. I'll be glad to help you, just remember that you're not talking to a Microsoft employee.

    Open the Registry Editor, locate these paths and delete them

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet

    Restart the PC, open the Microsoft store and go to your library, then go to check for updates.
