    Issues with Streaming Xbox One to Windows 10 PC


    Hi,

    I couldn't seem to find any other info on this issue, but I have both the 'streaming ability' checked in the preferences on my console and signed in on the Xbox app on my PC. It keeps giving me this error when I try to connect... "We couldn't connect to
    your console. Make sure the console is still on and is connected to the same network as the device."

    Has anyone had this issue before? How did you resolve it?

    im also havning issues with ep 8 and 10 with streaming to xbox one xbox 360 and windows 8 pc video and its the 14th sep

    Does ANYONE at Xbox care about the useless wireless dongles they are selling?

    Hi,

    One possible reason as to why you're encountering issues with connecting the controller while streaming using the Xbox app on Windows 10 is due to an outdated device driver. Other reasons are corrupted profile data and compatibility issues with the controllers
    and your Windows 10 PC.

    We suggest checking if there are updates available for your Xbox controllers on Windows 10. Refer to

    How to update your Xbox One Controller on Windows     10 for the steps.

    Note: Make sure to restart your console and your Windows 10 PC after updating.

    I have the same issue on a linx vision with windows 10. Was all set up and working properly, playing The Witcher 3. Tried to play a couple of days later and got the same message, "We couldn't connect to your console. Make sure the console is still on and
    is connected to the same network as the device."

    Have tried the following:

    hard reset - no change

    reset router - no change

    removed windows update - no change

    deleted xbox profile, hard reset, re-added profile, hard reset - no change

    forgot to say, also had a wired connection for the xb1 and wireless for the tablet

    changed the xb1 to wirelsss - no change

    Came on here to post exactly the same thing, managed to connect once but had no luck since and it's getting frustrating as the whole point of buying the vision was to stream the xbox one.

    I have a wired connection and have updated the xbox app, the smartglass app connects fine. Any help would be much appreciated
