    Issues with starting/joining party chat


    Hello, I am in the xbox delta ring and I am experiencing an issue where I can't join or start a party. When I click the button "start a party", the button just grays out and no party is created. Same thing happens when I try to join a party. I have tried doing a power cycle and restarting my xbox with no change.

    He randomly joins my parties or starts parties. I can be in game chat no party started. And a pop up says haters join your party then I get booted

    Can't Connect to Xbox Live party or Black Ops 2 Game with friends.

    Why would there be an issue when you start an xbox live party that with certain people you just cant join their party and they cant join yours, but if someone else creates the party room, everyone can join and chat. We have set and checked everything possible,but
    no luck.

    yup, we use the same workaround.

    everyone reboot consoles

    do not launch any games or apps

    1 person starts party and turns on party chat

    the rest join through friends join party option

    turn on party chat

    My headset isn't plugged in but is still connected

    For unknown reasons sometimes if you join a party you need to, in the Party Chat menu, hit the start button, select game chat, then select the start button and select party chat... and it works.

    Why?

    Who knows but at least it does.

    we are having problems in party chat, 5 of us are fine and someone joins and there mic indicator doesn't show, so they start a party and invite everyone and it seems to sort the issue, however its still an issue.
