Issues with signing in on iOS

Same issue here on iOS and Steam Deck.

Haven’t been able to sign-in for hours.

As a follow up, my wife’s phone works fine with remote play, as she doesn’t want to upgrade to IOS 16 and still runs IOS 15 on her phone. I can’t manually “downgrade” my IOS version to IOS 15 as Apple stopped signing that version. So a fix needs to be found as a large part of the gaming community is experiencing this issue Microsoft!

Mojang has offered a workaround that may work for people who are interested in playing Minecraft on their iOS device. To try this fix, do the following:

1. Close Minecraft on your iOS device. This means fully closing out of the game by opening the multitasking menu and swiping up on Minecraft.
2. Open the Xbox app on your iOS device. You can download the app here if you don't already have it installed.
3. Tap on the hamburger menu.
4. Navigate to Settings.
5. Tap sign-out to sign-out from Xbox Live.
6. Close the Xbox app on your iOS device. You can fully close out of the app by opening the multitasking menu and swiping up on the Xbox app.
7. Open the Xbox app and follow the guidance to sign back into Xbox Live.
8. Launch Minecraft.
9. Attempt to sign in with your Microsoft Account again.

Thanks for reaching out to us today. I'm sorry to hear about the current issue signing in to your Xbox App on your IOS device. By any chance have you attempted to uninstall the apps restart your IOS device and re-installing the apps? If not go ahead and
give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Also, do you have any issues signing through the Xbox App on any other device such as PC, or different phone? Hope to hear back soon.
