    Issues with purchasing xbox 360 games


    Whenever i try to purchase an xbox 360 game on my xbox one or on pc, i recieve this message "Sorry Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox." i have gone through various steps
    with two support members to try to fix this and still have the issues. the esrb rating of the game makes no difference, every privacy setting available is open and unrestricted, and all payment options are confirmed to be usable. i have no issue buying xbox
    one games either, just 360. i have already downloaded the march 2016 update onto my console. any help would be appreciated.

    Also, i was invited to the xbox preview program but either missed the invitation message or never received it. Another invite to join would be greatly appreciated.

    Cant Download Xbox 360 games Server Error in '/' application

    The only solution to this issue I have seen is to sign online with your account in an xbox 360 (any xbox 360 will do)

    After that you will not have issues with purchasing xbox 360 bc games from xbox one

    Does it say you need a credit card added to your account? I tried it today on my one and since I don't have a credit card on my account, which I refuse to have, it won't allow me to purchase free games.
