Issues with party chat (friends can hear me but I can't hear them)

About a week or two ago my party app started going haywire. My party members or teammates in game chat can hear me but I can't hear them. I've fiddled with my modem and router settings, have my Xbox on a static IP, all ports forwarded, and have the modem
bridged directly to the router. My connection is the standard modem->router->Xbox all via ethernet. Tests consistently come back 15 down, 1 up, 96ms 0% packet loss. I don't have any other Xboxes on my network. Opening ports got me from a moderate NAT to an
open NAT, but the problem with chat persists. Detailed network stats tell me I'm behind a "cone NAT" which is what you want it to say, if I'm correct.

I also don't think it's a hardware issue with my controller or chat adapter. I've tried it over two separate controllers (one brand new), and have both the stock headset that comes with the Xbox One, and the official over ear headset and it's the same issue
for all combinations.

I called support, and they basically told me to try resetting my cache (hard reset) and change it so that I'm only forwarding port 3074. This didn't fix it either.

Sometimes I can hear a party member briefly, but then they cut out again for a really long period. I also get chat icons on screen so I know people in game are speaking but I just can't hear them. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Is it a bug related to
the most recent console update? I'm not in the preview program by the way, so I'm running the most recent standard OS. I'm at the point where I'll try anything to fix it since I'm totally out of ideas. Thanks for the help.

Party chat can't hear me but I can hear them

Whenever I join a party chat I can hear everyone through my headset but no one can hear me. I've had the same problem for well over a year now and I've tried everything to fix it but absolutely nothing works. I've gotten a new headset, adapter and even a
new Xbox but still it doesn't work and it's so frustrating. No YT video helps and no comment on any sort of website helps either. Also my Kinect can be used for chat but I'd much prefer to use the headset. Please please if you have had this problem and somehow
managed to fix it please share it would be greatly appreciated by me and the little small group of other people who have had this problem.

 

Xbox party chat issues.

Recently today iv been having party chat issues. Whenever I join a party, my friends can't hear me and I can't hear them. But when I talk the ring around me shows that I'm talking. Help?

I am having the same issue. I can see the green round dot in party going thick, so I know my mic is working. I can hear the game with my Turtle Beach. But my friends cant hear my voice, and I cant hear there voices even though I am in the party and can see
their circles getting thick when they speak. Knowing the issues with Xbox live and Party Chat I am sure its MS fault!

 

Same issue here my friend jumps in a party , it shows no mic and shortly after it kicks him from game app and party . He has suffered since cod ghosts. He went to playstation 4 but as cod advanced warfare is broke on ps4 this year he has come back to xboxone
but if this problem persists he will surely go onto ps4 atleast he stays in party and game . 800pounds plus for both consoles and they are both broke .get it together it absolutely ridiculous oh yea I forgot microsoft and sony both got paid so *** us gamers
lol . Just like all uk can go to hell to init microsoft with optimal gaming being at 20-150 latency and we in uk and across the globe all stuck on 150 plus get sum servers in uk like you havnt took enough money and give people a poor service . Microsoft

Ya phone xbox they blame it on my isp or my friends isp. So we ring the isp Lol and they blame it on xbox live a on their servers but I'm inclined to agree with my ISP for once as my levels are on 126mbps dwnload and 12.44 upload and 156-180 ms /latency
so again can you please sort this out

 

Same Problem, I just bought Scullcandy Plyr1 headset, friends can hear me, I can't hear them. Tried port forwarding on my own, was sure I did it correctly, still didn't work. Bought and online port forwarding program in case I was doing it wrong, this didn't
work either. Got xbox support, they say to call internet provider, I did this as well. Anyone have any idea's what I should try now?

 

Also having this issue, both ways. Sometimes I can hear him he can't hear me, sometimes other way around. But that's not the weird part.

Sometimes, and this may be a weird issue with older equipment working with an Xbox One connection on his end (his modem is old), but he'll go silent for a while, up to five minutes sometimes, then it comes back and I hear the last five minutes at hyperspeed
over ten seconds. In Minecraft it's kinda hilarious because he'll freeze in place 1/2 block off the ground when it happens, even though on his screen he's proceeding as normal then fast-forward his actions on screen along with the mic input.

It's damned annoying when trying to communicate in Halo though.

Also, let it be noted my Xbox One is less than a month old and wasn't bought used. Cache-clearing doesn't fix it, NAT is OPEN, upload is usually about 5.1Mbps, Download is 55.3Mbps with 40ms ping. Issue may be that his down is 2 point something, his upload
is .63 and we have different ISPs and he has old equipment, however it has long spurts of working correctly.

 

I am having the same issues and can not chat with anyone after a few minutes.. I am using xbox one stereo headset and open nat. Total frustration

 

I have also been having similar issues. I join a party with my friend, the circle next to my name flashes when I speak and he can hear me ok, when he speaks the circle next to his name stays as it is and I cannot hear him at all but on his screen it is flashing.
We have both tried hard resets and rebooting our routers, and we both have open NAT. I would really appreciate getting some other suggestions to fix this as we were going to run through some halo coop over the next couple of days and it would be nice to talk!
