Issues with notifications

Hello,

So I just bought a new Xbox One, my old one wasn't working too well as of late. The issue I'm having with the new one has to do with certain notifications. I receive them for when friends come online, when I receive a message, or a party invite. However,
I cannot send or receive game invites, and party invites do not allow me to join when accepted.

I've checked my network setting, and my NAT type is open. My network and multiplayer connection is working fine. I'm not sure what could be causing this.

Games Hub Notifications don't go away WP8

I want those notifications to come back. I'm having issues with my headset and with the game. No toast notifications, or updates in the games hub...

Hey there Brethren Moons!

If you haven't yet, try
power cycling your console to see if that helps make your notifications pop back up. (Pun totally intended!) If that doesn't work, try power cycling your home network by unplugging your network hardware for 5 minutes and then restarting it. If that doesn't
help, the next step I'd recommend is going to be
factory resetting your console. That sounds drastic but you can keep your games and apps when you do this so it's worth a shot.

Hopefully one of those does the trick but if not, post back and we'll try something else. Good luck!

Hey there TPrach,

Sorry to hear about the notification problem. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console? Have you tried to remove your profile from the console and re-add it
to see if that helped?

Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

Download Speed
Upload Speed
Latency
Packet Loss %
Wireless Strength (if applicable)

That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

Sorry about using other gamertags but I don't see how else this issue could have been addressed. Is there another way to get information to the moderators in addition to reporting via the console? I don't have him listed as a friend. I've only sent him one
message since winter 2018 (which was 3 weeks ago) warning him about this. Thank you.

I haven't tried them yet mate as most of mine are turned off but judging by the sound of your description it would be nice if they offered "small, medium, large" notifications for the user to choose from.
