    Issues with my Xbox Live Party Chat


    Hey guys

    So I've been experiencing an unusual issue when ever I attempt to join/start a Xbox Live Party these past couple of days. When I join/start a Xbox Live Party, at first glance, it appears that I and my friends are connected however, I can not hear them nor
    can they hear me. On their side, it says I'm 'Connecting' and after a couple of minutes, I get removed from the party and there's no notification that I've been removed. This has been happening consistently and I have been unable to talk to my friends via
    Xbox Live Party.

    I have done multiple hard-resets on my console, unplugged power, reset internet modem, disconnected & reconnected from the internet on the console, tried wired and wireless internet and tested NAT type {which is open the whole time}. I also did all the tests
    available on the console and everything seems fine, but my Xbox Live Party Chat still does not work. I have not been blocked by any of the people i have attempted to Party Up with, and my messages still go through to them, I'm just unable to talk via voice/microphone.
    I haven't found anything online that has helped so I'm hoping the Xbox Forum page will help. I suspect this is something that isn't on my side but i have no idea what the issue is. Can anyone help with this?

    P.S I have experienced something like this before, but not as extreme as this, where either I or a friend was constantly 'Connecting' into the Party but all the times before this, the issue was fixed after a console reset or a modem reset etc. This time
    around, non of it is working.

    Sorry to hear about your Party Chat issue. Is your DeadCrushader Gamertag the one having an issue with Party Chat? Party Chat is a feature of an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, so your free account would need to upgrade to take advantage of that feature.

    Hi Austin,

    You can try contacting the game developers for more information about their in-game chat issues, but as I said previously, Xbox Live party chats effectively mutes in-game chat from being heard in the party. If you are recording the gameplay from your Xbox,
    the streaming program will not pick up in-game chat because in-game chat cannot be heard when in an Xbox Live party. In an Xbox Live party, you will not be able to hear other players in the game lobby unless you invite those player into the party. Other players
    will also not be able to hear you in-game while you are in an Xbox Live party. This is by design and not an issue and I don't think there is a setting to change that. You can test this by trying another communication program like Discord.
