Issues with my Xbox friend list - Case # [Mod removed]

As discussed with only chat support my issue is with my Xbox live friends only showing 4 of my 14 friends when I go to send a message to my Xbox live friends via xbox.com. I can view all friends, but when I select message and hit
add recipient button, only 4 friends can be selected.

To be clear, I can view and send messages to all 14 via my Xbox One or smartglass app, but NOT xbox.com

However, just to point out, this issue also presents itself via bungie.net as my Xbox live account is linked to the destiny site and that too only displays the same 4 friends when view my Xbox live online list via bungie.

I was playing Halo Wars with a friend between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm May 24th 2012 when my friend's "friend" ([mod removed: gamertag]) joined my Xbox Live party chat. [mod removed: gamertag] offered a software for me and my friend to purchase called "Host
Booting". I asked [mod removed: gamertag] what it was. He replied it was a software to boot people off of their own internet. We turned his offer down and just after that I was booted off of my own internet for about 15 minutes. Once I got reconnected to Xbox
Live/Internet I asked my friend who [mod removed: gamertag] was to him. My friend said he did not remember adding [mod removed: gamertag] to his friends list and also said how right after I was booted off my internet, [mod removed: gamertag] wouldn't respond
to what my friend was saying. My friend also said he was disconnected out of the match he was in, but not booted off of Xbox Live. After talking about everything with my friend he removed [mod removed: gamertag] from his friends list. I phoned 1-800-4-MY-XBOX
and spoke to a support employee. This support employee said that this was very disconcerting and that this is not what Xbox Live is for. He recommended I post this forum to help with this problem.

Are those 4 maybe your only friend that have an Xbox One?

Cause you can only send Xbox One friends messages from xbox.com now.

 

No, I have 14 friends over Xbox Live.

All my friends can be viewed on website, Xbox one, smartglass.

My problem is that when I go to message my friends via the web site xbox.com and press the add recipient + Button in the new messages box it will only display 4 of the 14.

On Xbox One and Smartglass I can message all 14 no worries, its only on Xbox.com

 

This problem also shows up when I try to view my friends on websites like bungie where I have linked my xbox live account.

 

Those 4 friends are just Xbox 360 friends

 

Can you send any other 360 friends messages from xbox.com?

Cause when I try I can´t send any message to a 360 via xbox.com

So maybe you wanna hit over to the support forums and ask but I think it has to do with the web side update.

Sorry for not explaining it right the first time.

 

It's possible the friends chose to be hidden...

Privacy is still an option even with friends.

I do have one other suggestion......

Don't use Xbox.com.... instead try one of the other forms of communication using the console features....... Lots of website changes but, the console features do indeed work just fine.
