    Issues with Multiple Consoles


    We have two consoles - an Xbox One and an Xbox Series X. I have the GamePass and Xbox Live. One of the consoles is at my home, the other is at my kids' mom's house. We've run into problems:

    Neither of my kids can play online multi-player games (CoD, Overwatch, etc.) unless they log in on my profile.

    I can't play games when they are on my profile.

    My kids can't play off-line games (Minecraft) while I am online.

    What steps do I need to take to get full functionality for both consoles?

    Do both of my kids need their own Xbox Live?

    Which console should I set as the "home" console?

    What family sharing settings do I need?

    No....I have tried that. If you choose to have the WLID password entered at sign-in, every console you download your tag tell (including yours) will ask for it. In my case, I have both the Xbox Live passcode and the WLID password activated. So every time
    I sign in on my console or my son's I have to enter the XL passcode first, then the WLID next and then the XL passcode.com.

    Hey iLL, sorry to hear about those disconnections! The good news is, you can require a password sign in from Xbox.com.

    Hmm, tricksie router. OK, so you get your NAT all open, you go to Multiplayer and it's strict again? Is there anything in your network setup that you could try simplifying? Take down any firewalls, bypassing DMZs and the like? If so, please give that
    a shot. Also, what if you try leaving the UPnP off?

    it's quite logical that when your Nattype on your Xbox isn't open that you undergo the same things with your PS3.

    I don't have a lot of knowledge with the PS3 Networking stuff and I don't even want, but I am able to assist you with the Xbox problem.
