Issues with money in child’s account in family

It is mobey added to the family account and he is using it to purchase various things. Worked great for awhile so i added a larger sum or money and ever since then it gives me error messages saying to add money to the account. Thank you for the number

It could depend on what he's been trying to buy. If he's trying to purchase 360 content on the One, a Microsoft account balance is not available for those purchases. If he's been trying to purchase One content and it's not allowing the use of the funds,

Once funds are added to an account, they can not be removed/refunded.

Ok reading all of these questions. First VBucks is not DLC. They are just ingame money to purchase items. As far as child account do you have the child under a family account. If child request a purchase an email is sent to parent account asking for purchase
permission. Thats how I have it for my son under family account. He cant purchase anything without me giving the ok through the family account.

is either one of the accounts a child family member account? if so this may be your issue as child accounts cant be found or search (i believe)
