Issues with making Micro transactions(and other issues as well)

The problem: Any time that I attempt to make a purchase (micro transaction) I get to the normal process in which you select the card you want to use for the purchase and then hit 'confirm'
but when I try to press the A button to confirm, it does nothing. It makes the chiming sound as if it was successful but does not actually follow through with the action. After noticing I am unable to hit confirm I try to hit 'cancel' - that does not work
as well (nor Terms) the only way to remove myself from the transaction screen is to hit my B button.

Update: I was instructed
by Xbox Support on Twitter on ways I could fix this problem but nothing seemed to help. Even removed my profile from my console but after I did that I was unable to log back into my profile due to the fact that the problem had gotten worse and
I was unable to click into any apps or icons (even tried using Smart Glass to navigate) and if I was able to type anything into where I would log in, when I typed it would replace my first typed letter with the next letter I typed.



Was also instructed to create an order to have my console looked at and possibly fixed but as my console was working perfectly literally last night I am skeptical as to whether this is an easily fixed problem or not so I have made this post in order
to receive help if at all possible rather than taking two weeks from Xbox by sending it in for repairs.

I am aware my post contains two subjects (as far as both console problems and billing problems) but as my problem first started off in billing I decided on this thread.

personally thought the crazy grind to unlock the heroes was more an issue then the micro transactions,

 

Fix the purchasing Microsoft points problem please

not all issues are the same

some issues are like incorrect billing info (wrong region)

making too many purchases in a short period instead of 1 big purchase of ms points (that isn't an ms issue thats a creditcard issue as it triggers fraud locks)

thats a big one because people don't like change people like micro transactions

 

Have you tried powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down? That may fix the problem.

 

Unfortunately power cycling did not work at the time either. Attempted that a few times even using various lengths of time to start back up the Xbox after being power cycled. The last thing I tried (power cycling then unplugging the Xbox then letting it
sit for one hour) did not work either.

As frustrating as all of this was, I turned off my Xbox after the last failed attempt then came back to it as I was going to bed just to try it for the fun of it and it worked. It just randomly started working again.

I had power cycled my Xbox, cleared my profile, unplugged it, everything.

But it just randomly starting functioning normal again - of course it just started working at midnight and the problems had been going on since 5PM.
