Issues with Halo:nightfall, will not play

It worked like a charm for me but I bought the digital version. Did you buy digital or disc?

Can't watch "Nightfall"

So, I purchased MCC digitally. Game, Halo Channel, and NIghtfall downloaded. However, when I try to play the 1st episode of Nightfall, it takes me to the Halo Channel and says I need to buy MCC. I did already! I deleted and reinstalled hallo channel
and Nightfall.

Anyone else having similar issues?

 

Master Chief Collection: Halo Nightfall won't play.

Having a similar if not the exact same issue. I have the hard copy of MCC, installed the Halo Channel, and used the code included with the game to get Nightfall. When I open the Halo Channel and go to Nightfall, the only option it gives is to Buy Nightfall.
Even when I hit that button though, it takes me to Nightfall in the MS Store and says I already bought it. Even so, it won't let me play it, it still says Buy Nightfall. WTF?

 

I bought the digital version as well, that's what I can't understand.

I have all of it downloaded. I just get bounced from the game to the app and back again in a circle. Telling meci need to buy a game I already own.

 

Did you try doing a hard reset of your Xbox One? If that does not work then I would get in touch with someone from support. Also, I would delete and re install the Halo Channel app. Just the app though not the game. That may fix it as well.

 

I have tried all that, even spent over an hour talking to customer services last night

 

I bought the digital version and I can't watch it either. Same issue. Tells me I need to buy Halo, which, of course, I have done already.

 

I'm having the same issue. Did customer service have anything to offer... known issue, working on a fix?

 

Sorry to hear you guys are having the same issue. Customer services didn't know about this problem last night. Other than the usual stuff, hard reset etc. However, the person I was talking to suggested opening this thread to try and raise awareness of the
issue as it should get things moving quicker. Hope it does

 

I know this doesn't help, but I want to let you know I too am having this issue.

I purchased it yesterday and it tells me to purchase halo.

 

I am having this issue too. It is very frustrating, hopefully they get this resolved.

 

I gotta say I am really disappointed with how games and how xbox live have been lately...

 

agree with this thread...halo nightfall no longer plays...I have the disc version of the game plus used the QR code included with the game package to download the halo channel (even though I already had it)...now if I click on nightfall either in game or
through the app it will not play....have tried reset and uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

 

YES! Fix it. I purchased and downloaded the digital copy. After all the hours of waiting for the 61.9 gig download. (was told it was 45gig) Halo Nightfall keeps telling me to BUY HALO to view Nightfall.

I paid you Xbox/Microsoft and would appreciate having full use of the game and all that comes with it.

Halo Channel could use a little work as well.
