Issues with Gamertag and 30 day trial on initial setup.

Hello,

I bought an XBox One this afternoon and had two issues during the setup that surprised me. The first was that, after being assigned a random gamertag, and eventually figuring out how to change it to a name of my choice, I ended up with a Typo in the name,
but didn't see a warning prompt saying that I only had one chance to change it before getting charged $10.00 to change the name.

Second, after being offered a free Month Trial for Gold during the setup, and turning it down because I wanted to complete the setup without having to go find my credit card, the offer is apparently no longer valid/

Is there any way to get this account mulliganed so that I can fix the typo and get the 30 day trial, as I wrongly assumed that they weren't limited time offers?

I tried customer service, but was told that putting in an appeal through the forum would bring the issue to the attention of the people that could maybe help (The Enforcement Team).

Will this get through to the right team, or is there a specific section of the forum I should have used?

I just opened up my new XBox One and can't get past step 2. Once I setup everything I powered up and I am getting a system error, please advise?

Hello Xbox friends,

Just took my brand new Xbox One out of the box about an hour ago. I haven't been able to get past the initial update yet. In the setup process, I have selected my language and country and connected to my wireless internet (finally), but I am stuck on the
fourth step. It says "The size of the update is around: calculating…" It has been on this screen for about 10 minutes, I have turned the console off and started the process over three different times. Each time, it has remained on this same screen for an
extended period of time.

My internet source is a little finicky, and it generally requires a password. Is that why the update isn't working? Where would I input the password?

Unfortunately support gave you some incorrect information. The enforcement team does post in the forums, but only in the suspensions/bannings forums to inform people of why they have been suspended or banned. There is no way to get in direct contact with
them and they only handle suspensions and bannings.

Once an account has been connected to the servers, there is no way to completely delete the account. You would have to start a new one.
