    Hey. Wondering if anyone can help?

    tried to install Just Cause 4 this morning and the disc based install went fine but refusing to install any updates for it. Just keeps saying installation stopped and to try again later when connection is better. This is applying to certain apps too such
    as sky, itvhub, bbc iplayer.

    however apps like plex and youtube are fine and my isp shows no signs of an issue.

    any ideas?..... thanks in advance

    Seems to have done the trick with hard reset and unplugging for a few mins. Thnx for the replies and help...

    I would recommend doing a quick reset.

    Hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on. The system will turn off. Unplug the XBOX. Wait ten seconds, plug it back in, press the power button. All your data is preserved, but cache is cleared and some
    settings are reverted and most issues go away.

    Glad it worked out. I was going to suggest looking at storage space but a hard reset often solves the problem!

    Hi it sounds like you may have a corrupted file or pesky bug, I would try clearing local saved games and the MAC address and maybe even do a power cycle after that.

    To clear the MAC address - Settings- All settings- Network- Advanced network - Alternate MAC address- Clear- Reset

    Have you had internet issues in the past ? Or are a lot of people using the same internet at the same time ?
