    Issues with Game Pass for PC


    I was sent here after a few months of back and forth with Microsoft Support in an attempt to get an Xbox Game Pass subscription to work. Today I was told that Microsoft had no more steps to resolve my issue, and that my best bet to give feedback and contact developers was to post on this Reddit. I have been attempting to use a 3 month subscription for my pc, every time I go on the beta Xbox app, the Microsoft store, or the Microsoft website I see no active subscription. Microsoft customer service reps tell me I have an active subscription.



    I have gone through all the steps of resolution that the reps have including updating windows, restarting my PC, reinstalling the Xbox app, trying on a different PC, disconnecting the Xbox app via command prompt, and ensuring all accounts are correct and signed in.



    I am not 100% sure how Reddit works, of if this will assist me in any way, but help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Ultimate is not the issue. I'm not sure what is, but Ultimate is not a requirement. Ultimate is a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass for console, and Gane Pass for PC. If you're only using the PC, you only need Game Pass for PC otherwise you have 2 subscriptions you don't need. Sea of Thieves is available on Game Pass for PC and buying Ultimate wouldn't change anything about the game.

    PC Game Pass Issue

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please make sure that your PC’s location is set to the correct region/county where the subscription is supported.

    Windows settings > Time & Language > Country or Region.

    After making the changes make sure to quit and re-launch the app.
