    Hello, My son has forgotten the family pass code for our xbox 360. I have tried doing thing suggested on google but none has worked. So I heard from a friend to go online to the xbox support. I have tried every thing but I have had issues with the chat support.
    When I go to the page that you outline your problem the boxes asking for your first and last name and email address are grayed out and empty. So i cant add to them. As a result I cant go any further until these boxes are fill. Any be able to help me. TIA

    My Microsoft Live support person told me to put my issue here so...

    Support in this forum is more to help with missing codes from promotions or issues with redeeming codes. Phone/chat support would be the only ones who could handle issues with codes that have already been redeemed.

    Code redemption issues generally boil down to account related issues. Phone/Chat support are best suited to offer support with that.

    Sorry to hear it. What you'll need to do is give phone support a call. The method of resetting the pass code is linked to the specific console and it's serial number. They'll be able to work with you to reset the code.

    Actually I have noticed that this happens with accounts that are set in regions not reached by xbox live service yet. If you are having this issue probably your country is not part of the list in the link below:

    in my MS profile it shows the first name and the last name. But in the chat window when I want to enter sujbect to let me chat with the support team, I can not submit as it is not showing last name and neither does it let me enter, since it is an out field
    which is disabled for entry.

    What support option are you using as this is probably normal behavior to protect your identity especially if you have chosen to chat with a volunteer from the community.

    Your name should automatically enter as soon as you sign in to the website you can check your MS account and see if your name settings are up to date which i hope they are. :)
