    Hi,

    I purchased an ESO Plus subscription two nights ago. It's not my first time playing or subscribing, I have previously played and subscribed on both PC and Xbox One.

    After purchasing, I discovered that the subscription had not taken effect in-game. A quick Google led me to Zenimax Online's forums where I discovered that this had been an issue in recent days but only for users on the Xbox platform and that it was now
    largely resolved. They had a couple of things to try if the issue had still not been resolved for you. I tried all of these but the issue still persists.

    At this point, I decided I would contact Microsoft's dedicated Xbox customer support. That was two days ago now and I have yet to get talking to anybody that can help me with the issue.

    I was first referred to a 'specialist agent' in their online chat two nights ago at 2.39 a.m. GMT (I'm in Ireland). I started out at position 4 in the queue and quickly moved up to position 3 and then position 2 and it was at position 2 that I stayed until
    I eventually gave in and had to go to sleep. I left the browser tab open and my phone turned up full volume in case I got any notifications.

    When I woke up yesterday morning, I was still at position number 2 in the queue. I left the window open throughout the day and when I left it unattended for a few minutes to make a sandwich an agent eventually replied after a ten hour wait. By the time I
    came back the agent had left the chat.

    I opened up a new window and went through the same process again. Again, I started at number 4 and quickly moved up to number 2. That was yesterday and I am still sitting at number 2 today. How the hell can I spend over 24 hours combined sitting at position
    2?! What the hell is position 0 doing that's causing such a long wait for position 1 and myself? I'm starting to think these numbers are bogus.

    I started a second chat on another tab without referring to my problem, in this instance I wasn't referred to a specialist but was replied to by an Xbox Expert Gamer who apologised for my not being able to get through to anyone in support. He then said he
    would forward my queries onto a UK agent via e-mail and they would e-mail me back. They haven't.

    Attempts at using phone support have proved equally disastrous. I tried ringing the customer support phone number but all it is is an automated recording telling you to go use the online services because it'll be faster...I beg to differ. I tried arranging
    a callback via the online services but that resulted in an error. I am unable to schedule a callback as when I put in my phone number (I have tried several) it simply says "Sorry, we're having trouble connecting you. Feel free to try again or ask another
    question."

    Lads...what is going on here? Is Xbox customer support always like this? I've never used it before. I don't mind holding on the phone for a half hour, I don't mind waiting, but trying in vain for two days just to get talking to someone is ridiculous and
    is, without question, the worst customer support experience I have ever had. My frustration is such that my primary issue now has become my complete lack of ability to contact Xbox customer support rather than the initial ESO Plus subscription issue.

    Please, don't anybody come back to me with "Power cycle your console, log out and log back in" or any other kind of copy-and-paste response. I wouldn't be here posting on this forum if I hadn't already exhausted the available advice.

    I am sorry that your seeing issues with The Elder Scrolls Online.

    This seems to be an issue over at Zenimax server side.

    If your Xbox account shows you have ESO Plus active over at https://account.microsoft.com/services/ you will need to submit a ticked over at Zenimax Support with a screenshot
    attached.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I have already seen all of that information and been in touch with them, thanks. As I said, I wouldn't be posting here if I hadn't been through all of that already. Hopping on a forum is always the last thing I will try.

    They consider the issue resolved as of the 26th of March. I am still having the issue and I was told by them that I needed to get in touch with Xbox support which leads me back to the parts of my post that you haven't answered...

    Why am I finding it impossible to talk to anyone at Xbox support? Is this normal? I want to have a live web chat with a support agent or arrange a callback and I'm unable to, it's extremely frustrating.

    ESO Plus not showing while subscription still active

    My ESO PLUS IS STILL HAVING ISSUES. I have contacted them and they said THIS IS A MICROSOFT ISSUE. That they are working with MICROSOFT to resolve it. So why is Microsoft saying it's an ESO ISSUE?? FIX IT!

    The problem lies in the automatic renewel of the ESO Plus and the 1500 Crowns bonuse,

    @MemphizUK buying Crowns in bundles would not generally give problems.

    The reason why you need to contact Xbox Support for ESO Plus problems, is because of the subscription is with Microsoft directly, and not with Zenimax.
