    Issues with adding friend and notifications


    Been having a issue with adding a friend, the Xbox console, app and website tells me I added him but shows him offline. He has added me as well, we don't even receive any notifications at all from each other. But when we are with our other friends in a party
    we can get invites no problem but when by ourselves we can't even join a party or game. Not sure what the issue is cause he is the only person I have a issue with having as a friend or receiving anything from. I can even receive invites from non followers
    and friends. Any one have any ideas on this matter?

    Friend Online Notifications Not Working

    Had no friend online notifications today, a friend also experiencing this.

    How does xbox one notify when people send friend requests?

    in order for them to be added to your friends, you must follow and and they must follow you. as far as a notification indicating that they signed on or are signed on are in the works.

    Adding friends should be easier

    The notification system could for sure use improvement! I have also had issues with people adding me and never getting the notification. Or the old notifications from friends that added me a year ago will keep popping up but not the new ones.

    It seems to be by design. A follower is someone that's added you as a friend, but you haven't yet added them back. If you do, they become a friend, but there's no notifications.

    Favourite notifications for both Xbox Series S and App not working.

    I have this same issue for a couple months at least now and my friends do as well. Favourites just suddenly stopped notifications on my phone and xbox. Like others said I get notifications for screenshots messages etc. Just not favourites. I tried removing friends from favourites and re-adding them but it made no difference.

    Could you shoot me a private message with the gamertags that you are trying to block? Also have you tried blocking from
    Friends on Xbox.com? Search the GT from that page and attempt blocking from their profile on Xbox.com. If that doesn't work out, shoot me that PM and we'll do our best to help you get
    it sorted. :)
