    Issues with a refund


    On Sunday my 3 year old son accidentally purchased in-game credits ($200 worth!) while playing a racing game on the Xbox - pressing buttons with no idea what he was doing. Unfortunately I was not aware that he would be able to do this without me needing to re-enter a password for payment, which we have since corrected. The very next morning I submitted a refund request explaining the situation and within 30 minutes received a response stating that the refund had been denied as we had reached our refund limit for the year! Despite never having requested a refund from Xbox before! Now 5 days later I have sent several follow up emails requesting further information or to speak with someone but am yet to receive a reply. I also contacted Microsoft and Xbox by phone but was advised that there is no phone support for refund enquires and that I would just have to wait to receive a response by email (which is meant to come within 72 hours).

    If someone from support could look into my enquiry asap or at least assure me that I will receive a response soon it would be much appreciated.

    You still have to pay for netflix.... It just wont be behind the Gold Membership Paywall.

    If you don´t get any Information until today you should contact the Support Team.

    I recommend also that you change your account settings to ask for a password before making purchases.

    Normally, it takes up to 24 hours for the points to show up; however, it is okay.

    If the refund request is approved all you need to do is to try to purchase them again, no worries!

    You can request the refund trough the refund form, that message you mentioned appears on the automatic refund request, but won't appear on the form

    If you just made the purchase you can wait for 24 hours as sometimes can take that time to appear
