    Issues While Using an HDMI Switch


    So i purchases a HDMI switch and plugged it into the input of the XBONEX, and it says no video found.

    I know its not the switch because i plug it directly into the projector and it display's video just fine.

    Any setting in the XBOX One X that would prevent the video/audio from the switch from displaying?

    Issues While Using an HDMI Switch

    Switch your X to 1080 then use the Switch. Most HDMI switches can not do 4k.

    Be aware as well that the system is designed to be a media center so adding extra bit might throw that off.

    For streaming stuff before I tried this but it quickly became a pain to have as part of my set up.

    There are two hdmi connectors on the back of the Xbox One X. Make sure you plug it into the right one.

    HDMI issue specifically with 360

    It happens with all Xbox 360's, Zacabeb & Obsessive Power, had the same issue while using a HDMI Switch etc.. It's to do with the Handshake being overwritten on the HDMI Switches IC, when you change to another source & it loses the HDCP HandShake.. HDMI
    v1.2 has issues with Non-Dynamic / Non-Error Correcting HDCP & HDMI v1.3 + v1.4 (PS3 or BluRay) doesn't have this issue..

    I'm having same issue when switching inputs on pc monitor. Xbox reboots when i switch while av audio dongle and hdmi are plugged in. If only hdmi is connected, xbox does not reboot but i need the av audio dongle for sound. This is Driving me quite mad and
    i'm hoping that there is a fix for this. Spent hours looking into this but have found no answers. Please someone at Xbox help us out with this issue. There are many of us.

    Just a thought but could using the toslink port on back of xbox for sound solve this?? Any info is greatly appreciated.
