Issues voices on Dead Space, Gears of War 2 and text on Halo Wars spanish version

No no, thats not true. Gears of War is not in full english or in english with subtitles. I will try to explain myself.

Im from Spain (Europe):

If i download Dead Space from Spain, the game is in full english. To play Dad Space en full spanish i need change the country of my console to Italy and download it.

If i download Gears of War 2 from Spain, the voices of the intro are en spanish mexican and the voices in gameplay are in english. If i download Gears of War 2 from, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Chile, France, Hong Kong, etc... the intro is in spanish of Spain
and the ingame voices are in english... Why only the intro in spanish of Spain and the rest of the game in english?

If i download Halo Wars from Spain, the game is in full english, and the original versión was at least subtitled in spanish.

I have the same problem. It is a shame that has not already been fixed.

To be more specific, when we produce a game for BC, we need to use a specific binary file. And more specifically, we use the digital Games on Demand version of the game, as this is generally what is available to us.

While many games supported a lot of regions, when it came time to package the game for digital distribution, each Studio made decisions on what level of language support they would carry through. In these particular versions, the publisher decided to support
some regions with the English voice actors and then use subtitles.

There is very little the BC can actual do here. As the experience is identical to the GonD version for 360 users, most studios don't have plans (or even capability) to do an update the BC team could pick up to add additional language support. While we will
continue to look for ways to improve this or offer workarounds, there just simply isn't much the BC team can do to address this that we haven't already done.

To clarify a bit, when the game is download digitally (through Backward Compatibility) it's using the language from the region it's downloaded from and in some cases are different from a disc copy used on an Xbox 360 console.

It's good that you posted on the Feedback website, though in this case you'll want to fill out the
Backward Compatible Survey again to let the teams know you're still experiencing the problem.
