    Issues using Games for Windows Live on Windows 10.


    I recently purchased Lost Planet 2 on Steam and it requires Games for Windows Live to run, after installing it I attempted to login with my usual info but it didn't work, I even tried to use the app password as I have an authenticator but that didn't work
    either so I'm at a loss.

    GFW has been discontinued and closed years ago. LP2 was one of the games that didn't get converted to Steamworks.

    If you search around the web, you might find a way or a tutorial (or on the Steam forums) on how to remove or bypass GFW so you can play the game.

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

    If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.
