Issues streaming from pc

I'm running windows 7. I often stream movies and music from my comp to my xbox, and generally have no problems.

I watched a movie yesterday, streamed from pc to xbox, perfectly fine, enjoyed it, got to relax and watch it while I eat.

Star wars episode 4. Today I sit down to watch episode 5, and it pops up 'status code 69-807b0191'. Which says 'file size is too long' Which the movie isn't over 4 gigs or that its the wrong type. Yet its the same file type as episode 4, which ran yesterday.

So... I switch back and try to watch episode 4... and it pops up the same error code. Yet I know i watched it fine yesterday, today, its saying 'haha, screw you'.

The only thing I've done between yesterday and today, is move a few files around to try and sort my collection, and put them all in the same folder. I pointed windows media player to the new locations, can watch the video's fine on the computer, but ever
since I moved them, the xbox is saying 'haha' cant watch like half my collection.

any idea's?

Ep 8 = Ep6

Ep 9 = Ep 9

rest of season is fine.....

Streaming from surface rt same issues as mentioned above.

download episodes from a win 8 pc no issues with the whole season.

try to stream downloaded files to xbox same issues as mentioned above. conclusion Streaming from pc to xbox does not occur as one should think.

Twitch app crashes when loading channel

LoneGnome, I am having no issues whatsoever streaming Twitch from any other device in my household (Mobile, and pc).. only on the Xbox One.

 

I'm having issues myself. But you could try the free version of Plex Media Server (once installed on the PC, on the Xbox it will be listed under System Player)
