Issues (screen blinking) with Netflix app and Blu-ray player app?

I have a new xBox one s ans when i go to open netflix or bluray app the screen keeps flickering with gray static. How do i fix this issue? Ive removed and reinstalled the apps with no improvement.

Thanks!! So i unplugged the xbox, plugged it back in and then switched HDMI ports on the TV and now it works fine.

the best steps to follow would be:

1. Check HDMI cables

2. Try a different HDMI cable

3. Check for updates

4. Try a different tv or HDMI port

5. Go to settings

6. Blu-ray & Disc

7. Clear persistent storage

8. Hold power button for 10 seconds

9. Remove all cables from the console

10. Connect all cables after 60 seconds

11. Turn on

12. Load a movie

13. Enjoy

be sure to check if there are any updates for both apps.

Also double check if the HDMI cables is/are connected securly and if possible also try a different HDMI port on the TV and if needed also try different settings on the TV if available.

Some thing to always try when experiencing issues is a Power Cycle. via these steps mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

I have also had the same issue (since the most recent update). Only seems to affect the blu ray player app. Netflix and the media player app are working as expected.

YCC was not enabled but, but color was, No updates for blu ray app. I am thinking it is the blu ray app as netflix on xbox outputs Dolby Vision without issue
