    Issues Purchasing and Downloading Content


    We can not download or purchase content on the xbox

    We got a new Xbox one on the 20th of Aug.

    This is an upgrade from the xbox 360.

    I am the parent and I have an additional 2 child accounts.

    My account (the adult account) and one of the child accounts do not have a problem and we can purchase downloadable content.

    The account with the problem has exactly the same settings as the child account without the problem. Also the account with the problem is working in the Xbox360. Meaning, we can purchase downloadable content in the 360.

    The error we get is “settings are blocking downloads” however his account is set to anything.

    We deleted the account from the xbox one. Restarted the console and reinstalled the account.

    We have change the settings on the account through the adult account on the console as well as logging in the xbox website.

    We added a new credit card information to the accounts.

    The account has a credit from Microsoft points.

    Any ideas on how to trouble shoot the problem

    Can't download anything...

    I also just read everything in the "Issues Purchasing and Downloading Content" thread and nothing helped.

    No support for my region - can't buy

    Since you live in a non-Live supported region you will experience issues purchasing and/or downloading Marketplace content and redeeming Live time and ms point codes.

    give it a try to Change your privacy Settings here
    account.xbox.com/Settings


    just to anything different than you are currently using, then back to you Setup you desire to use
