    Hello insiders! I just joined the program and I’m excited to try the new features (the one I wanted to try is the add games/apps to the Xbox ally x main app.

    I am finding that the new stuff I have added does not start no matter what I try. I attempted opening them how I usually open them (steam or the rog app) and it seems it affects programs that need the administrator permission.

    Anything I could do or that anyone has tried to make this work?

    Error code: 0x00000001 Unable to install anything

    I experienced this issue as well, on the most recent version of Windows. This is what I did, in order, to fix the installs. I'm not sure which step actually helped.

    1. In "Apps and features," reset Microsoft Store, then reset Xbox app.
    2. open regedit, entirely delete Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices and Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet
    3. Restart
    4. Open Microsoft Store, update "Gaming Services" or ensure it is already up to date by pressing "Get updates" in the "Downloads and updates" section.
    5. Open Xbox app. Issue was fixed.

    Ensure that you are on the most recent version of the Xbox app and the Game

    Microsoft Store app > Downloads > Get updates/Update all

    Ensure that you have updated your PC to the most recent version of Windows, including optional updates

    PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates > Install

    Open the Xbox app on PC > (the game) >Manage > Files > Verify and Repair

    Sign Out of Your Accounts (Xbox App and Microsoft Store App):

    Open the Microsoft Store by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Microsoft Store, and selecting App Settings.

    Click on Repair and then Reset the app.

    Repeat the same process for the Xbox App and the Ark Survival Ascended Game

    Restart Your Device:

    After repairing and resetting both apps, restart your device.

    Sign back into both the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store using the same email.

    Check if this resolves the issue.

    If that still doesn't work, open the Xbox App, search for the game and click on the 3 dots, then select Manage and click on "Create Desktop shortcut".

    Close everything and then right-click on the game from the Desktop and Run as administrator.
