Issues on Xbox One

Hello! My son got an Xbox One 2 days ago. Last night, he started having trouble playing games and getting on Youtube. Is it an Xbox One issue? We don't seem to have an internet connection issue or an Xbox live issue.

Xbox One Powering On Issues

Hello everyone,

Recently my Xbox One hasn't been powering on as intended. I have it set to Instant On (with the "activate by voice" and "resume games quickly" options selected), but whenever I leave my console off in this manner overnight, when I come to play the next
day it won't start up unless I manually turn it on by hitting the button on the console. Turning it on by controller or voice doesn't work. On top of this, the console will start up as it does normally in Instant On ("Hello *insert name here*!" and to the
dashboard) but almost immediately as it reaches the dashboard, it shuts off and turns itself back on. While it does technically work as intended still, I would very much like to get this fixed. If it's relevant, I've also noticed my Xbox One fan getting
really loud (louder than my Xbox 360 fan in some cases) whenever starting a new game or turning on. It lasts for a couple seconds and goes back to near silent, but it worries me just the same.

If anyone has a fix for this or the same problem, please let me know. Thank you.

 

Sign in issues on xbox one

I keep having to sign back into you tube on my xbox one every thirty mins but I have no issues with you tube on my tablet. My husband in unable to sign into his xbox or mine at all and when he went to the site showed on the screen, using his phone, he is
informed that he is using the wrong password even though he put it in correctly and hasn't changed it at all. we also keep getting disconnected from xbox live even though each console is still connected to the internet according to the connection test.

What in the world is going on with xbox live over the past 2 days to cause all these problems and what can my husband do to fix the problem he's having? He is unable to sign onto his profile with any device.

 

Occasionally there are issues with different parts of the Xbox Live network (just like any large network). The best way to check if there's any current problems is to click on Support up at the top of this page and, from there, look directly underneath the
green strip at the top and click on the Xbox Live Status link. The link itself will say whether everything is fine, or if there are any problems, clicking on it takes you to a page that lists all of the different services and whether they are currently up
or down.

 

Shadow walkerOZ, I hit the "yes" to say you answered my question but it's showing "reject answer." Hope it doesn't mean that I reject your answer...I checked the support tab and it says there is a You tube issue. I'll double check on the game issue. Thanks!!

 

Cool, hopefully it's something that's only temporary and gets resolved soon so your son can get back to playing games again.

 

He is still having trouble...He can't play his Evolve game which is on a disc and he can download games but he is unable to play them. I saw where they are working on the issue w/Youtube. He can't get on internet explorer either. Any suggestions?

 

According to other posts some 2k games are having issues (Evolve is a 2k game.) I would check their website to see if others are having issues.

As for Internet Explorer, I'm not sure what the issue could be. It seems to be working fine on my Xbox so it seems like there is something local going on. What exactly is the problem? When he opens it he has to bit the back button to bring up an address
bar otherwise it will essentially do nothing.
