Issues on XBox One on starting the console

Hi all,

my son's console starts by the controller but after about 15 seconds the Tv shows a message that explains the service seems not to work properly... go to visit XBox support.

Ok I visited.

All the services on.

I controlled the internet connection in the room and it runs good; I controlled the cables.

I tried to start the console more and more but always the same message. No message code shown.

The X Box Live subscription is ok and neither the home page appears.

I tried also to start the console with different DVD games and without DVD.

Please help me (no customer care service it seems...).

Microsoft is not killing off consoles

If the design is good a console will be relevant throughout the course of a generation. If you start out hobbled with a weak hardware design like the Xbox One,the situation is going to be more difficult. If the One had a strong balanced hardware design this issue wouldn't have been an issue.

Are you italian by any chance? if so I can reply also in italian

What message are you getting when turning on the console?

As a general advice, always try a power cycle.

Do that by turning off the console. Remove the power cable from the console, wait 15 seconds, plug the power cable and turn on the console again.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention here on the forums. I understand your Xbox One console is not booting up properly is that correct? I recommend you eject any disc that may be in there then turn the console all the way off and unplug it from any
power source. Once unplugged leave it that way for a minute or two before plugging it back in. Let us know with a reply how it goes.

It's possible that the issue you're experiencing with your Xbox One S is related to a failed hard drive. However, there could be other factors at play as well. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the HDMI cable:

Make sure that the HDMI cable is properly connected to both the console and the TV. Try using a different HDMI cable to see if that resolves the issue.

2. Check the TV input:

Make sure that the TV is set to the correct input for the Xbox One S. If you have multiple HDMI inputs on your TV, try switching to a different input to see if that resolves the issue.

3. Power cycle the console:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds before plugging it back in. Then, turn on the console and see if the issue persists.

4. Reset the console:

If power cycling doesn't work, try resetting the console to its default settings. To do this, go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and keep my games & apps.

5. Connect Xbox console to another TV.

You may use another cable or the same cable however, it is much better preference if you will use the HDMI cable included to your Xbox Console. See if issue persists on another TV.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that you may need to consider upgrading your console.
