    Issues launching Gamebar


    Hi,

    I use gamebar to talk in a xbox party with my friends (PC), but the app was being buggy and kept crashing (while i was playing sea of thieves with the same people). I decided to reset and repair the app, thinking it would fix it, and now i have a worse problem.

    When i attempt to boot gamebar using WIN+G or by using search, it says 'Xbox Game Bar is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001'. I have tried tonnes of solutions but none of them seem to work.

    Any suggestions?

    having the same issue when gamebar is not open in the foreground every other program can use the mic just not xbox or gamebar unless its on top.

    found it is a popular issue on other forums, it is apparently gamebar causing it all the time and when gamebar is disabled it stops it completely, nothing psyonix can do about it, they say it is up to microsoft to fix gamebar. i have just disabled it as its useless anyway.

    Yes, it is, probably this restore procedure will help to fix what's causing this issue on the gamebar. :)

    I feel so sorry to have bothered you for so few :{

    Solution: simply delete the Captures folder itself once the GameBar is launched it recreates the folder and the "old captures" are replaced by the "real content" of the folder...

    the only thing i can think of is either reset gamebar from the apps and features area or uninstall gamebar and reinstall. sorry i couldnt find anything else.

    it is a curious issue and i cannot find anybody else with this issue online at the moment, i tested it myself running roblox and it worked ok.
