Issues joining friends in any game

Hi,

Here is my problem. I have one friend that I always have problems joining. It started with Destiny, we couldn't join each other's parties at all even when there were other friends in the party. I contacted Destiny support and they asked me all the usual
questions told me to change my NAT and forward ports. We both have Open NATs and forwarded all ports for this game. Occasionally we were able to join each others parties but it would never last more than an hour.

Next I we tried Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. We were unable to be in the same online party again. We are able to be in an private party and play private games but not online matchmaking. Activision support gave me the usual troubleshooting stuff and they
gave us new ports to forward. We still have open NATs and ports forwarded, we still cant join each other.

GTA V online same thing. Open NATs and forwarded ports. In that game we are able to join but one of us always gets kicked out after short time has passed.

Now we are trying to play Borderlands the Handsome collection together. On Borderlands 2 the game tells us we are a "good match" we both have open NATs. When we try to join an in-game screen pops up saying "connecting to host. please wait. Timeout in 30,29,28...."
and the countdown always hit 0 and the connection fails.

We are always able to be in the same Xbox Live party chat, we just cant join each other's games. Both of us have no problems joining any other friends or other random people. Why is this an issue with just one person? Are there just some people who can't
be matched together no matter what? This is getting very old and I feel like I'm just wasting my money on games I can't play with my friend.

Has anyone else ever had this issue? Can anyone help me?

Dead Island Definitive Collection

Has anyone had issues trying to join friends playing this? trying to play dead island and it keeps coming up unable to join game yet it will join random players in seconds......

 

Connection lost

Hey guys

i am having issues with my Xbox one on live.

i join a friend to play a game

some times it will join no issues but it will kick me out of the game within 5 mins of playing



i get a message of "Connection lost The host has exited the game". The host is still playing the game tHough. any way of fixing this?

 

I found a fix go to advanced settings then go to Alternate Mac Address then clear restart then it fixes the issue now its open

 

Could be your ip, can other friends join? apart from this friend
