    Issues installing games with the Xbox (Beta) app.


    I've been having an issue that just started the other day and I haven't been able to find a fix for it. I didn't have any problems installing games from the app, but then it just started throwing the same error code at me.
    Error code: 0x80080005, I've tried looking for a fix but I couldn't find one. I've also tried installing games from the Microsoft Store but it's insanely slow, as in it took me more than an hour just to reinstall the Xbox app. I've tried updating Windows
    through the Updates and Security option, but it also keeps throwing an error code at me that I haven't been able to fix either. I've checked for file corruption and there's no issues there, running SFC didn't result in any problems. I've also tried turning
    my firewall completely off, still, no results.

    Hi there,

    The only thing I could suggest is to see if installing the games from the MS store website or MS store app instead of the Xbox Beta app. As the Gamepass PC app is still in beta and that might be the issue.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issues. Sorry you are having issues with the Pc game pass. Do you also have the Xbox beta app installed? Is your Windows up to date to the 1903 build? You can view the

    Can you install one of the titles you're trying to install from the Xbox (Beta) app without issues?

    If so, then I'd recommend we try Settings > Apps and then find the Xbox (Beta) app, select it and click "Advanced options" and then click the "Reset" button. See if that does the trick.
